A big thank you to all the visitors who took part in the various events at our factory in Hawangen.
We were delighted to welcome the timber construction industry to our premises. It was both a pleasure and an honor to welcome so many interested faces and to be able to present the latest developments of our company in many discussions.
We would also like to take this opportunity to give a brief review of who we were able to welcome and the highlights we tried to inspire the visitors with.
The first event was the January conference of the High-Tech Joinery Association. In addition to inspiring presentations by the association, we were able to present our machine technology and process solutions to the association members.
At the second "mass timber days" event, the mass timber industry from the USA, Canada, Japan and Spain gathered at our premises to find out about the processing options for solid wood panels (CLT) and glulam beams. Our ROBOT-Max 1300, PBA-X 3600 and PBA-Drive 3600 machines were presented to show how their combination enables maximum processing efficiency and flexibility for the processing of glued laminated timber elements. We not only showed our machine technology, but also the networking of the entire production and the CAMBIUM® production platform was presented.
A special highlight of the "mass timber days" was the visit to the HolzBauWerke in the Black Forest, where the PBA Industry with vacuum tables and complete control by the CAMBIUM® platform could be admired in everyday use.
The "innovation days" were the grand finale of our series of events, to which the entire European timber construction industry was invited. In addition to the machines that we were able to present the previous week, we also showed the TURBO-Drive 450 and the SPEED-Cut 480 integrated production cells. These two production cells impressively demonstrated that automation is gaining ground in timber construction. The ROBOT-Compact 650 stood out as a space-saving miracle with impressive performance and flexibility.
In addition to the performance of the machines, the presentations also focused on demonstrating the CAMBIUM® software platform and its possibilities. Whether it is the networking of the entire production of solid wood components or the control and monitoring of entire production cells, CAMBIUM® users can plan and operate all of this with ease. In addition to operation, production control and the entire display and planning of the material flow, CAMBIUM® shows its skills in facilitating work preparation and the entire warehouse management.
As we are firmly convinced that the machines are still used by people despite all the automation, it was also important to us that our service staff were able to enrich their daily contacts by telephone and e-mail with personal meetings with the users and introduce themselves. We hope that the conversations with our service team and the tool experts are helpful in making everyday life at home easier.
We are still overwhelmed that over 1,000 people accepted our invitation. We received phenomenal feedback and are already looking forward to the next event with our customers and partners in the industry. We would like to thank the entire industry for making such special memories at these events and are determined to continue supporting the industry with innovations for timber construction.
We are proud of what we have already achieved with our customers, partners and employees and promise that we will continue to work hard to reach further milestones. Everyone can eagerly await the new generation of machines for element construction in residential and commercial construction.
