5-axis chainsaw
The chainsaw has a motor capacity of 15 KW and can be positioned in 5 axes. The slot depth is up to 500 mm, the slot width 12 mm when the HSS chain is used. Alternately, a carbide chain with 14mm slot width can be used. No tools are required for changing the chain, which only takes about 1-2 minutes. The saw blade can be swivelled through 360° and inclined from 0° to 90°, which enables the production of any number of longitudinal, diagonal or mitre cuts as well as lateral slots. The saw bar's special geometry allows precise production of corners (without radii), e.g. for window or door cuts!
5-axis universal unit
With a carbide-tipped saw blade Ø1,100 mm and a motor capacity of 22 kW. With an angle of inclination of 0°, a cutting depth of 350 mm is achieved. The saw unit automatically positions itself at angles from 0° to 360° and at inclinations from 0° to 90°. As a result, practically every kind of longitudinal, diagonal or mitre cut is possible. This unit is excellently suited for the machining of solid wood panels. The cutting speed is 8-20 m/min depending on the thickness of the part and the angle of inclination. The speed can be continuously adjusted up to 8,000 rpm, depending on the tool. An actual engine power of 38 kW is then achieved.
